On the 16-17 of May 2011 the President of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products, Mr. Grzegorz Cessak, attended the 2^nd  Trio Meeting, i.e. Poland, Denmark, Cyprus in Danish Medicines Agency. This meeting was   a continuation of debate, which had been initiated during the meeting in Polish Office for Registration on 21 January 2011.

Heads of Medicines Agencies discussed issues concerning common priorities of Trio Presidency in the scope of registration of medicinal products as far as all planned meetings and their division among separate countries are concerned.

Special attention was devoted to the process of preparations for Polish Heads of Medicines Agencies meeting, planned for 4-5 July 2011. Both subject matters, and logistical issues were raised.

Taking into consideration the participants’ renown and dimension of decisions taken during HMA meeting, this is the one of three fundamental meetings that is going to be arranged by the Office. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs it is classified as HLV – High Level Meeting.
