On the 3-4th of February 2011 the President of the Office, Mr. Grzegorz Cessak, attended the Heads of Medicines Agencies meeting in Budapest. This meeting was an opening of Hungarian Presidency activities concerning the Office’s area of interest. Throughout the period of holding the Presidency in the European Union Council, by each of the European country, the Heads of Medicines Agencies meets twice. During debates they discuss current and the most crucial issues relating to the process of providing the access to safe and efficient medicinal products for human and veterinary use as far as the EEA field is concerned. This meeting was not only a forum discussion but also the source of key and strategic decisions.
